Not at all Johnny D. I don't think success is anything to do with the issue. Adam's was a different case, which I guess he knows. My contrary advice to his was in general to people with no contacts, past experience, scripts developed to a level of a rehearsed reading within a company one is in some part at least established. You don't get to be there when a reader reads a spec script from a newbie so getting the basics right is just common sense. Minor details I am sure they don't care too much about, it's just if there are a number of them it builds up to a first impression you don't get the opportunity to change.
