The 68 year old Benidorm actor has died from cancer. He will be missed!

Shocked to hear that. I also noticed him in the long forgotten sitcom Life without George series 1. He played the wine bar owner Sammy. If there's more Benidorm it will seem strange without him.
That is very sad news, and I wonder if they did start filming the series with him in it? Only met him once a true gent to meet and talk to.

This is such a shame, Donald was such a good character. He'll be missed in the new series, however at least it wasn't midway through filming. Do you know what the weirdest part is? Last night on ITV2, they played the episode where Donald has a heart attack in the swimming pool.
That was a bit misjudged!
