Comedy podcast - writers needed! Page 2

The writers room is just a notice board so I am sure it is okay.

I'm sure it's a great project and will deliver a great show, but should the BBC be advertising something that only accepts writing from one gender?

Clearly, yes. http://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/opportunities/iShorts-Funny-Girls

Do any blokes want to write for my new podcast,

Have a whale with the pale stale males.

It's actually mostly me drinking special brew in my underpants and swearing incoherently. So do send me special brew and perhaps some underpants, mostly special brew though.

Made the shortlist for this so am going to half blow my own trumpet.

Congrats to Vivienne R for going all the way :)

Well done on those who made and nearly made the final podcast on this. There's a couple of names on the list I recognise.

And good generally to see an increase in comedy podcasts - we don't always have to rely on the BBC for our radio break!

Thank you - and looking forward to seeing yours appear next time round :)

Absolutely; it's finally beginning to dawn on me that Newsjack isn't the be all and end all.

Well, I say that now; I don't suppose I will at 4.30pm on a Thursday afternoon in September...
