Just looking a copy of final cut express on ebay. Reckon it'll be much easier to work with than Imovie.

Very good. I think other peoples comments are spot on... it would have been far more effective if you'd really studied one of those qvc presenters. Incorporated their style of presenting into it and copied many of their mannerisms.
Kudos though, this was well conceived and pretty well executed!
I use iMovie as well, have only done a few green screen videos and yes it hogs the resources and can take a while to work itself out, I think though that you can do all the cuts before you apply the green screen. For what you are doing I think iMovie is fine, Final cut is a bit of a learning curve and might take your time away from the creative part of the process.
The cuts in the second video are much cleaner, just keep a keen eye out for the bits at the end and in the begining of the clips, zoom in and make sure they don't overlap and cause a flash effect (it is called something not sure what)
