That is utterly mental. Great skills on the modification to fruit. There is something innately funny with dolls that have beards and sideburns. Good work. Very original as well. I know it's more about surreal characters but I still would have liked a few more jokes in there.

Sorry not to reply earlier; I only just saw this. Thanks for the response! I looked at your Lucy Manic blog and had a chuckle. I like the idea of rabid cross-stitching.

You have a unique talent - I think the whole dolls thing is inspired (I've seen a lot of your other stuff).
IF ONLY you could team up with someone with a huge pair of scissors!
This eight minutes plus piece needs to be cut down to two minutes MAX.
I genuinely think if you partnered with a script editor or fellow writer - brave enough to challenge you - you could get these things off the ground.

So, genius or flawed genius - you decide!
Which I'm sure you will - as you're obviously a very single-minded individual..

Good luck with it.
:)

I'll certainly settle for "flawed genius" as an alternative to "talentless git", which is what I was making do with before.

Believe it or not, I know what you mean about the length of the pieces - not that I think they'd be funnier if they were shorter, but the things that work best on YouTube are short-form, 3 or 4 minutes at the most. People tend to lose patience with anything longer. Having said that, I doubt if I'll be changing my style. I like stories and characters, and I need to do the stuff that feels right for me. I'm a stubborn bastard, I'm afraid.

But I do appreciate your comments and your good wishes.
