pornography on the site

Where?!
Show me!!
Unless it's men.

I don't even know what to say. I'm not sure if you're deliberately being a knob for a laugh, but if you're not, then you are an idiot, Jerf. Sorry.

Very spooky, especially the mind reading child, who could promise not to have nightmares before he had heard the story, , but the snooze break half way through was a stroke of genius and very useful. thank you.

Thanks for taking the time, Jerf.

As to the 'mind-reading child' - if I have to explain how a kid can agree to something whether or not they're positive they can live up to the promise, well, I'd have to explain the human condition from the ground up, wouldn't I?

Let's not revert to names, people ... please.

If you couldn't make sense of my comment, then how dare you castigate me. Ps. The 'Crit' advice that I posted was a spoof, as was this particular critique.

Jerf, I don't think my tone was in any way a castigation. Your 'snoozing in the middle' of the sketch comment was plainly sarcasm and neither crit nor spoof. To save confusing dummies like me, I'd keep your spoofing to your own dedicated threads and your proper crits to other people's ... ;)

I think maybe people are being a bit touchy. I think he is being a knob for a laugh. I mean - 'snooze break' and all that - clearly not serious. Clearly misguided though, so might be best to adhere to SlagA's advice. Or maybe Jerf should signpost any purposefully off-colour response by encapsulating it with Laughing out loud smileys. E.g:

Not a bad sketch.
Laughing out loudYou stink of excrement and the smell's rubbed off in your writing.Laughing out loud
Punchline was quite good.

Come on SlagA I'm being abused and you and Aaron have banned me from defending myself against the onslaught, I reckon it's 'Ageism' You are all ashamed of yourselves because your critiques are not as sofisticated as mine.
I'm offering a prize to the first one to spot the deliberate mistake.

All of this is getting a bit pedantic... Jerf we're not Ageist, we welcome all ages.

It just you appear to be contradicting yourself a lot with critiques and other comments don't seem to be very constructive.

Let's just go back to basics eh?

It was a: Good/Not Bad/Bad sketch <insert simple reason>

So you've a lot of prizes, eh? :D I've already asked people not to resort to names and I didn't even take your age into account (which is all well and good).

Now, if you'd only stuck to sophisticated crit and not sarcasm and 'spoof' this could have been avoided. Please stick to crit-ing in other people's threads and help those less sophisticated than you, especially the mods :$

David, so as not to have a 'break' in the sketch, why not begin it whereby he's asking the boy if he wants to hear the rest of the ghost story, therefore we still get the story without a break?

(I think Jerf is V funny and doesn't mean to cause offence but a sense of humour isn't one if it's at the expense of someone else)

Great stuff David, as always. Swine.

Agree, if you are trying to be playful and funny, then it obviously isnt coming across, as people keep getting offended. Make it clearer, or better still, just critique in a straight manner; which is what people want really.

This is quite spooky because the sketch was raised from the dead after 3 months.

SlagA I'm trying not to go on, but I'm honestly confused with the 'No Names' directive. You have a video on which you dress up as well known artist. You make yourself look bald with sticky tape, you hold a penis shaped object to your chin, and speak in a stuttering manner
"Good game, Good game", I think you say( the audio on the video is not that good, I think you'll agree) The title of this video is this poor man's name. Is that not more objectional and ageist as anything I've posted on this site. I think if you honestly examine your motives you will agree with me and apologise, unreservedly.I commit these points to your conscience.

I think it may be an age thing there. I mean, pornography?!

I could show you some links... PM me... Laughing out loud

Guess you missed out the whole "Reeves and Mortimer" thing...?

I think Brucie might have a chuckle, anyway.

Oooh, this is so difficult to judge. Are you joking, or not?!

"I commit these points to your conscience." I don't believe you're serious!

I am, honest.

Not wishing to hijack David's thread but I am totally confused Jerf. What has a Slagg Brothers' sketch about Bruce Forsythe got to do with this thread?

Please, someone kill me. :S
