I'm one of these people who looks at the stupid clearly-for-publicity-only polls re-published in newspapers and want to go and spit on the company that wasted their time researching some inane trivia.
e.g. "Puppy dogs whose owners are left handed prefer cheese sandwiches rather than acid baths... according to a new survey conducted by Pedigree dog food".
So I'm a bit reluctant to go chasing news stories all the time. But, yes, we'll no doubt be having a few polls from time to time.

Shhh... you're revealing the state of our planning! I think we said per-show to start with because it's a lot of effort to rate individual series and episodes and so the results might not be that representive. However we might get to that level of voting after a bit (maybe for new shows which everyone is paying attention to).
EDIT: Ah, without prompting Leevil agrees. That suggests that is the best plan.
