The Porridge spin-off...
Does anybody know why the writers made Fletch a singleton in this series?
I never liked the fact he was lonely and that his wife had run off with another fella.
Why not include her in the show? What harm would it have done? He would still have been Fletch. He'd have still been trying to find his feet in the big wide World.
Even if the actress wasn't available, she was only seen about once in the series. They could have replaced her?
I dunno. One of those minor things that only slightly spoils the spin-off for me.
