Re-Publishing

A couple of years ago I wrote a tongue in cheek article about how freshers should deal with university. It was published by Cambridge Nutter, a student magazine at - well - Cambridge and I was recently rereading it and think it is still relevant and publishable today. Can I resubmit it to other Universities? Also could I resubmit it to several Universities at the same time to be published by different people at the same time? I would not expect to be paid for the article therefore I can not see any issue why they would object to publishing it if another university across the country is also publishing it. What do you think?

As I understand it, the copyright is yours and you can do what you like as no one has paid you anything for it. (if money has changed hands then that's a different matter)

It is considered courteous though when submitting it, to inform them that it might be also published in other university magazines.
