Musicals

Hi, Jerf Robowitz here. Just recovered from my fifth heart attack, although recovered may not be the right word, Sent my play, Hippodrome Heights to Lloyd Webber, haven't heard anything yet but still hoping.
I'm writing a new play and would like some 'constuctive' critique.
It features a Jewish family taken from their ghetto to an extermination camp.
It may not be the right subject for a musical as it is quite sad.
I'll wait and see what you think before I send it to Lloydy.

being part jewish , am I allowed to say it should be a gas ? and set in a camp ? call it 'die de die' ! and yes I am part jewish - my dads middle name was moses and I have a big conk :)

I wouldn't send it to Lloyd Webber if I was you. Could you try staging it on the Edinburgh Fringe, see if its got legs? Or would that be an "amateur" thing to do?

Thanks Paul, I 'll dump it, It's probably a subject that deserves more serious examination than mere entertainment.
