Where to send comedy articles/pieces???

Hi,

Anyone have any ideas of where to send comedy articles/rants? I have written a piece about the ludicrous concept of 'Hen Do's', which is informative, witty and not at all offensive...

Any websites/magazines spring to mind? Any recomms, I'll appreciate it but that's pretty much all I can do.

Bascially any website from cracked.com, the onion to newsthump will accept articles.

Just go on their sites and route around, as will Viz, Readers Digest there is a banquet of opportunity.

Problem is they're all backed up with competition so you need to be both good and writing in the format they want.

I'd suggest running one of your articles past the denizens here.

Mumsnet?

Start your own blog and spread word about it via social media?

Good plan but as we both know Ben a lot of hard work involved

Cheers guys - will take a look at what's mentioned and yes - may bounce it in the critique section.

Unless they have recently changed their rules, I believe The Onion is 100% in-house.

Viz, Newsthump, The Poke, Private Eye, The Idler, The Mustard(?)
