Filthy Rich and Catflap

The episode with the Blankety Blank bit in it was great, the other 5 had flashes of brilliance but sagged. Having said that, I thought it was really funny, and loved Nigel Planer in it. I thought out of all them - Ade and Rik - he played it very believably.

I'd not watched it in years and bought it again on DVD. It's true, shows never die nowadays they get constantly reinstated by future generations. And I found more enjoyable in way than The Young Ones, because after all this time, it was like viewing something I'd pleasantly forgotten about.

I really loved the biting satire on the cult of celebrity too, which was amazingly very in keeping more now than it was then. Most of the celebs it pokes fun at are now more known through Yewtree than anything they've done in the last 30 years. But yes, it was flawed, but it was funny too.

And it's got a great theme tune too.
