Jimmy Jewel. Certain similarity in lugubrious looks maybe. Google the Box on YouTube etc very funny and I am sure his uncle/cousin can't remember which influenced Eric Morecambe certainly a very similar style, which admittedly was probably a bit of a staple in the theatres at the time.
