Faith In The Future

Started to get into watching these on ITV3+1 and I find them rather hilarious. So I've done my research and it is a sequel to another sitcom called Second Thoughts, which I haven't got round to seeing yet.

Does anyone else like this 1990s sitcom?

Are this and Second Thoughts available to buy?

Oh, what a shame! :( I will have to record them off ITV3. Thanks Aaron for the info!

For some reason they don't release a lot of spinoffs. Anyone noticed?

Second Thoughts is a favourite but I do think Faith in the Future is even better.

Simon Pegg (Series 2&3) and Jeff Rawle are perfect foils for Julia Sawalha and Lynda Bellingham.

Great -- original, I think -- theme music.

Written by Jan Etherington and Gavin Petrie who also wrote favourite Next of Kin. (Also not available on DVD.)

I re-watch every chance I get.

Currently rerunning these again on ITV3 around 4:15pm-ish each weekday if anyone is interested.

A strong series this; so sad that we've lost Lynda Bellingham who had a great comic touch. And the theme music was really good wasn't it? Great performances by a decent cast who obviously enjoyed their time working together. In an obituary I heard that Lynda used to buy coffee and cakes for everyone each morning. How lovely.
