Damn the Torpedoes!

Due to British Forces Radio's very progressive listen-before service you can now catch the official version of the new show Damn the Torpedoes here before it's broadcast on Wednesday. If unfortunately you miss the listen-before, before the broadcast, you can catch up with it on the listen-before-again service for which I'll post the link.

To be honest it's probably easier just to listen to it on Sky, FreeSat or DAB at 6:30pm on Wednesday, or on FM if you live near a military base although I can't recommend hanging around outside military establishments with listening equipment.

Either way, we hope it goes down well and you enjoy it :)

Thank you very much indeed, Sir.

Fantastic achievement from all those involved. Lewis MacLeod!

I listened to the first half the other night ( which I thought was very funny - Do we have a cat? - brilliant). Am just about to listen to the rest. I Really must try submitting something to Kirrin Island next time round. All the best team.

Yes, you should. Feedback guaranteed and possible rewrite suggestions if we like something!

Thanks also, Will!

Here's a belated Easter Egg in the form of a sketch that was deemed a little too racy for the radio broadcast of Damn The Torpedoes

I suspect it has swear words in it. Servicemen don't like swear words.

You'd be surprised. We had a very heated discussion about using the word 'balls', even though the Forces have much more than anyone else...

And actually, the above sketch has no swearing in it.

Can pacifists listen to it?

No, it's illegal.

So, we got commissioned for a series :) https://www.comedy.co.uk/news/story/000001520/bfbs_radio_damn_the_torpedoes_series_order/
