British Comedy Guide

Just A General Observation

I've made a list of current radio 'comedies' that don't have a forum thread. Is this because they are truly terrible?

Warhorses Of Letters
Episodes: 12 (3 series)

In And Out Of The Kitchen
Episodes: 16 (3 series)

North By Northamptonshire
Episodes: 16 (3 series)

Clare In The Community (one comment, and that was to give away tickets)
Episodes: 55 (9 series)

Nurse
Episodes 6 (1 series)

...And some of these are getting a TV version.

Nurse had a mention for being good

Maybe they just lack zeitgeist

Shedtown is currently on its third series!

Maybe you could start threads on them if you're that concerned. Or maybe ask in the General Radio Comedy (or whatever it's called) thread.

Tried Clare in the community a few times and found it quite tedious

Gloomsbury?

I think the only radio comedy I've like the in the last few years has been Down the Line and That Mitchell and Webb Sound. The rest all seems either mundane or twee to me.
