It wasn't offered to you per se Paul, just to people who come to the writer's discussion part of the forum for just that really. Support, discussion, insight and the like. It's not really a part of the boards dedicated to negativity - not to fellow writers at least.. as I understand it.

Much criticism is opinion. And 'opinion' is 'onion' with 'pi' in the middle. I don't know what that means, but I just noticed it and it is factually correct. Unlike my own, other people's opinions can be wrong. Take note and listen to as many different people as possible to get the fairest evaluation of your work and hope for as little floccinaucinihilipilification as possible.
All criticism is opinion. Sometimes it is based on facts.
