I, too, love Carr and Boyle, and I second the Lee Mack recommendation (reading his book right now and really enjoying it). Checking out Gary Delaney now, and I like what I'm hearing so far. Good rec.
I especially like it when Jimmy Carr does the thing at the end of his sets where he gets progressively more and more extremely un-P.C. to stretch the limits of what sorts of f'ed up things an audience will openly laugh about. Are you supposed to laugh? Are you a bad person if you laugh? ...I don't know, but that's the fun of it.
