A Million Ways to Die in the West

Have a horrid feeling all the best gags might be in the trailer - but I'l still give it a look.

I'm sold. :D

Interesting to see Charlize in a comedy - classy cast.

By coincidence, I woke up today thinking about "Blazing Saddles" and that I ought to show it to my teenage son.

Loved the trailer.

Surprised there are no more updates to this topic.

I watched this on Sky a few days ago.

I actually think this is a funny idea, that the wild west was a dangerous place to live when almost everything and everyone was trying to kill you.

It has some very funny moments in it, and is very well made (some beautiful shots of the wild west lands), but it fails due to its poor editing I believe.

Problem is that Seth McFarlane wrote it, directed it and starred in it, it could have done with a separate director, particularly one with a background in comedy.

I do think some of the "gross out" moments are too gross (even though I am often a fan of well made gross out comedies - Blazing Saddles for example).

However I think some of the comedy in it is quite clever and if you fancy a laugh you could do worse.

I would love to see the film re-edited, some of the "gross" elements removed, and it given a better more catchy title. It may then have been a far better film.

But it is still very funny in parts and worth a hour or so of your time.

Uncensored trailer here, with some of the gross moments in it.

I defy anyone not to laugh at the scene of the couple having their photo taken at the County Fair

I was right.

The moustache song was pretty good though
