Hi, I'm looking to find a great comic actor for a short film. Someone who can play a bit of an asshole, self centred but we still seem to empathise with him because of his unintentional comic touches. Ideally someone in his 30s-40s. Was thinking Eddie Marsan but not sure if he's done any comedy?
Any thoughts on people you think it's worth me checking out would be great.

It depends who you're capable of getting, David B. Eddie Marsan just keeps getting more and more respect, so you'd have to have something very special to get him on board. And some good contacts.

He's not a *name*, I guess, as far as casting agents etc go, but he *does the business* on screen alright, in my book; and it sounds like the part might be made for him.
