Script feedback after submitting

Looking for some advice on what response should you expect from a production company after you send a script.

1)If you send a script to a company who accepts submissions. Do they generally give you some response or only if they like it?

2)If you send a script to a company who doesn't accept submissions. Do they always ignore you ?

3)If you send a script to a production company and they send you back a form to sign (that you accept certain conditions) before they read your script. Would they do this for everybody or would they have read a few pages before they would bother sending you the form?

Racoon, from my experience, the answer to all of your questions is Maybe, depends on the people and how busy or considerate they are. There are no set rules. One thing I've discovered, there's always lots of waiting. What you can do is ask if they've received it after a week or so, then remind them again after a few weeks. Of course, they could ignore that as well.

NEVER HAD THIS BEFORE.

I've got a growing stack of none disclosure agreements, butthat's a bit weird

most companies just have brass plate on their site, saying beware we may be working on similar ideas to you.

I should have said, No 3 did happen to me. I signed a form testifying that the script was all my own work etc etc, after which they read it, and eventually optioned it, after lots of rewrites.
