Has anyone watched this? I haven't. I see you guys are not keen on the sitcom.
What did you think? Where can I watch this?

I fancy this one's a bit obscure to get feedback on David. Had to look it up meself. Not a bad sitcom premise, hasn't this been done more recently btw? Think it might be the new Margate thing, why not start a thread on that one?
Funnily enough I found out about this a month or so back because it was set in Bridlington - the town of my birth.
For this reason I am very keen to watch it despite being voted the 6th worst British sitcom.
When I saw the title I thought "Rising Damp."
If I recall correctly it had a Bullseye-esque cartoon title sequence and a really annoying theme tune. It was a pretty depressing show.

Crikey - what were the bottom 5? Anyone?
I do recall that series, as I rarely ever left the house in the 1980s whilst growing up. Yes, I totally agree about the concept of the annoying theme tune and that it was a post Corrie vehicle for Patricia Phoenix.

I'd wager that Bottle Boys was one of them.
Actually, I think that we may wish to discuss the calibre of LWT/ITV Networks' Friday night sitcom output. I recall quite a few from the time.
