Moone Boy - Series 2 Page 2

Finished the second series, it's one of the best shows on telly. Warm, silly, really funny. If you don't have Sky, go find it.

Matthew and I don't often agree but he's right, this series is wonderful.

It's airing locally in two weeks. I've got to give it a look simply because it's fresh material. (on this side) It's looks lighted hearted and fun. We shall see.

A really funny series.

In my own opinion, I think it had a slight Malcolm in the Middle feel to it. Something in the way it is edited maybe and each scene being a fresh mini comedy in itself.

*if anyone has a f**king clue what I mean, please let me know.

A third series has already been shot, yes?

Yes. Noted in our guide.

Presumably shot now, before the boys grow too much?

Filmed last summer.

Gosh! They certainly do film it well in advance.

I also really enjoyed it. Thank God it's already out on DVD so I can watch it here. This is probably the funniest yet most charming series I've seen in a long time. Chris O'Dowd and Johnny Vegas are great as always, but the whole Moone family is cast perfectly as well, the visuals, especially Martin's drawings and dreams, are very creative, and the series on the whole is just so heart-warming and likeable that it's really close to perfection. Can't wait to see more.
