My first several 'jokes' Page 3

Exceptions to the rule, in the grand scheme of how many people use twitter.

Some excellent tweeters there, although one is notorious for slightly altering jokes and tweets and passing them off as their own, before blocking the following people who pull them up.

As you say though, I guess if you keep plugging away, you'll get there eventually.

What's the rule?

You describe putting jokes on twitter as "pissing in the wind" but if you keep pissing in the wind long enough the wind will change direction (or something, not sure this metaphor really works).

In comedy, no one really takes any notice of someone who does something good once or twice, what gets you noticed is doing something good over and over again.

In lots of ways it's more advantageous to be productive than to be talented.

You can make a living from churning out lots of perfectly acceptable jokes but you'll struggle to make one from one or two moments of genius.

If the wind ever does change direction for me Tony, I will thank you for pointing out perseverance is the key ;)

All wind and piss, then.

Is that the new Stella Artois advert?

Sound and fury

The printer joke is just a rip off of the 3D TV joke when they first came on the scene.

Echo what the other chap said, not really any jokes as such.

You are obsessed with this "Its a rip off of another joke" idea, how many times do you have to be told, there is no such thing as "new Jokes" they have all been told before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRHHHHH

No new jokes? New jokes are told every second of every day. They might be about TOPICS that have already been done, but there's always a variation or NEW joke about it.

The joke in question is the same joke but with printer instead of TV.

Take my NHS joke from yesterday. 1000's of jokes have been written about cuts to the country, but this was a NEW joke about it.
