Stir Crazy

had not seen this in years and to my surprise it is showing on more movies ch 185 (been on twice now so should be on again )

So fri night and all the family are in for a change and I flick this on to the inevitable groans from the teenagers who think anything and everything that was made before the year 2000 is pants! lol! So I implore them to give it a try and.........

They were in absolute hysterics all the way through!! God bless Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor because I don't think we have all sat around the t.v laughing so much!

Too many things to mention but the tears were really flowing from everybody when Gene wilder gets back from solitary and Grossburger as been put in the cell!

Aaaaah they really don't make them like this anymore!

One of my favourite films of all time. Loved it as a kid and still do as a joyless adult

" oh there it is right on the end of your nose! " Laughing out loud

Yeah, I rewatched this too a couple of years ago, and thought it held up really well. A classic.

My teenage kids like a few other *older* comedies that might be worth a try. My son loves Airplane, The Blues Brothers, and Python's Holy Grail and Brian. My daughter loved Ghostbusters when she was younger.

I love Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. I used to have the VHS box set. Hear No Evil, See No Evil is another of my faves.
