a 1980s mug buzby or similar
a walkman or just the headphones
a Relax tshirt
an Athena poster liked the naked bloke hugging a baby
a vesta curry or pot noodle or just the wrapper
a landline phone, a wacky one if possible
garish trainers
leg warmers, head band and wrist thingies
digital watches
a route master
beware these are all cliches

Find a 1980s transistor Radio too the belt clip one is possibly too small.
Early 1980s in the UK was the time of Citizen's Band Radio (before mobile phones) so maybe some CB Radio Jargon ?
