The pilot aired on Fox last night and it's as good a first episode as anything I've seen this season. It follows three brothers in the army reserves and humour-wise isn't a million miles away from Brooklyn Nine Nine, fast, snappy dialogue and broad without being lame.

Looking forward to watching this later, it's had a lot of buzz. Though the fact it's been put on a Friday does not bode well for its long term future.
It was pretty good, a bit of a mad rush trying to set the situation up, and a few too many cheesy 'heart warming' moments, but looks like it could end up being a decent ensemble comedy now that's out the way. Or it could get cancelled within five episodes.
I'll agree it pushed the sentimentality button a little hard on occasion, but overall I thought it overcame all the usual problems of a pilot really well and found time for loads of jokes. Hope it sticks around.
Fox swapped it with Raising Hope (I had no idea that was still a thing) and that led to a ratings bump which is good.
Honestly though, I can't think of another show that's hit the ground running like this one has since maybe Arrested Development. All three episodes so far have been great, plenty of laughs and no irritating Scrubs-y morals bolted on.
I just watched episode two and three, it's a very solid show, lots of funny. Hopefully they'll flesh out the other soldiers more and more as it goes on.
Five episodes down, still a fun, light watch.
Definitely, a shame they're being aired out of sequence though.
Fox have pulled this from the schedule so now it's not clear if they'll even air all the episodes they've shot. Such a shame.
Canceled. Fox could not have screwed this show any harder.
Sometimes in the U.S they seem to purposefully set up a show to fail, not giving it a chance. Which is really odd.
Another solid episode. Sad there's only three left.
