Hi all,

Can I present this clip from episode 2 of The Daily News Video Show, which will be out later today. Al Pacino tests some new catchphrases on Frank Sinatra outside Shoe Zone.

Many thanks,

Have you read Kitty Kelly's biography of Sinatra? Portrays him as quite an arsehole, violent and racist. Even better is P.G. Wodehouse - A Life in Letters, where he writes: "... Frank Sinatra, whom I have always regarded as the world's premier louse."

The premise was fun: post-Bogart Rat Pack trio goes to a discount footwear emporium, where they encounter Al Pacino, who pitches some catchphrases at them. But it was a mite plotless and didn't thrill me. Pacino voice good, whereas Frank, Dean and Sammy at times hard to understand because of their low volume and the background sound.
