Watched it on iPlayer, thought it was very good and Beckham pulled it off nicely.

That's odd as other "Relief" clips are on there from past progs.

It's here on iPlayer at about 53 minutes:-

Just watched it (thanks Hercules).

Enjoyed it. Always thought of Beckham as an thick twat but I have to say he went up a tad in my estimation after that.

Glad it wasn't David Jason doing the falling-through-the-bar this time, he'd break a hip.

I thought that was a decent revisit for the series. Beckham seemed a little wooden with his first few lines, but wasn't too bad after that. Nice finish too.

Nice finish too.

Yes, thought it was a nice nod and tribute to JS.

Hated Tyler in Green Green Grass. Don't see how it possibly could be different with Damien whom I even hated in the original show.

But this would be a different actor playing an adult version of Damien, not an irritating 10 year old with ill-conceived dialogue. Virtually a different character. Although I do admit it would be unlikely (but not impossible) to be any good.

It was nice of David Jason and Nick Lyndhurst to guest in Becks's annual Comic Relief sketch.

You're welcome. :)

Comic Relief was last year, Paul.

Comic and Sports Relief are the same charity.

Comic and Sports Relief are the same charity.

Separate events.

A bit like saying John Lewis and Waitrose are the same shop.

Yes but if I said the biennial sketch for Becks would it be as funny?

I thought it was bloody amazing. A tribute to Roger & John.
