Writing technical help/Question

Hi guys,

Hope you all had a nice Christmas.

I am starting my sitcom with the final scene and then I rewind to the morning of that day.

I.E. It is laid out like this -
Final scene
Intro credits
1st scene
2nd scene

Do I lay out like this?
INT. LOUNGE - MORNING OF THAT SAME DAY.

Or INT. LOUNGE - EARLIER THAT DAY. MORNING

Or is there another, more accurate way of doing it?

Sorry if this is a silly question!

Thanks in advance!

Personally I would just put:

INT. LOUNGE - EARLIER THAT DAY

And would then consider whether it might be worth putting up an on screen title, for the audience's benefit

TITLE: EARLIER THE SAME DAY

Do it in stage directions to explain to the AUDIENCE what is going on and all should be clear.

That's great, thanks guys.

There are a few ways to do it but I think it's down to personal preference. As long as it's clear what's happening it doesn't really matter. You could put 'EARLIER THAT DAY' in the scene header, but if the end scene (teaser) is really disparate from the opening scene then it might be clear enough without mentioning it.
