1970 The Beatles
1973 Skateboards

The Beatles Correct :)
1973 Incorrect try again,if you want a clue just ask

I think I got stilts in 1973 but doubt it was those.

Snorkel wearing? Twister? Dunno. I will need a clue.

1974 - George Foreman.

1977 - Red Rum (not L'Escargot).

Blimey, so Twister invented twerking! Who knew?!

As any fule kno the Beatles partnership was not officially dissolved until 1971. And there were many other groups that split up in 1970. Frankly I don't trust this quizmaster.

Furthermore, no horse has won the Grand National 3 times running. Red Rum won in 73, 74 and 77. It was 2nd in 75 and 76.

This quiz is a sham. I urge BCGers to support the genuine Friday Quiz rather than this abomination.

Thank you. 1978 must be Anna Ford unless the late ex of Dennis Crookshane arrived earlier than I recall.
