Just got some feedback from Dan for a script. Five pages of succinct, insightful criticism. Forth time Dan's critiqued a script for me and every one has been excellent.

See, that's what happens when you don't get Dan to script edit for you. I think it was actually the fifth time as well, but I can't spell fifth.

Matt, Dan & indeed Marc Blake are all talented people. Everyone needs to pay the rent, so I hope you newbies all use their services. Then again, they should all be still working in getting their own stuff produced - in whatever 'media'.
I offer no paid script editing service. But if you send me a script I'll simply give you a yay (or nay) as to whether I think you should keep trying to write. I'm too busy on my own stuff to offer detailed analysis - and, fortunately/annoyingly, I work in a full time job which means I don't have to earn money elsewhere.
I've used script-editing/report services in the past. & it was great. But all it actually confirmed to me was that I could write comedy. They won't turn someone who can't into someone who can. Like everything else in life, to really succeed you have to possess a natural talent/flair.
This is why I'm not a huge porn star.
