Dave Presents - The UK PUN CHAMPIONCHIPS
Dave Leicester Comedy Festival are looking for the 8 best new pun based comics to battle it out for the title of UK Pun Champion in a knock out battle
Date: Thursday 13th Feb 2014
Venue: Just the Tonic Leicester, Leicester
Format
- Each comic will be given 8 topics in advance of the show
- Names will be drawn out at random to compete in each round
- Topics will be drawn out of a hat with the two comics having 3 minutes to tell as many pun based jokes a possible.
- Winners will be judged by audience with the final say down to panel of judges
- The Winner will proceed to the next round; the loser will be eliminated from the competition.
- Round will be as follows Quarters, Semi's & Finals
Criteria
- You must be currently performing stand-up comedy in the UK
- All puns in the competitions must be original
- You can't have performed stand up Television

Deadline for entries is the 13th January 2014. All successful applicants will be contacted w/c 20th January
