When we married I had a very bad drinking problem and my wife used to say to me " I hate it when you come home drunk!"
So I joined the AA and stopped drinking, and everything is different!
Now all she says is "I hate it when you come home!"
Now all she says is "I hate you"
I prefer that.

Perhaps, as part of a routine built around marriage or drink or something. But not strong enough as a stand alone joke.
If you are going to post a lot of single jokes, perhaps you could put them all in the same thread? Otherwise the front page of Critique is going to fill up very quickly with your contributions, and other people's more substantive efforts will be pushed out of sight.
