Again in the hope of being more topical I've made this short joke, I know it isn't based on facts, buts hope it won't matter, again any ideas? is it any good? how to improve it?

To try to appeal voters at Christmas time, it has been suggested that each political party adopts a Christmas song as part of their campaign.
The conservatives have chosen: mistletoe and wine: because it conveys that family and friends should be all you need to have a happy Christmas.
Labour have chosen: Last Christmas: and would like to remind everyone how much better off they where under a Labour government.
The Liberal Demarcates have chosen: Walking back to Christmas: as they go back on everything.
The Green Party have gone with: Rocking around the Christmas tree by Mel & Kim: As it was clearly recycled.
And the BNP have gone with "White Christmas": but have not yet given a reason why!
