Quote: Nick Boocock @ 7th December 2013, 4:25 PM GMTComedy newbies, you can earn your first IMDB credit courtesy of my ace comedy short "Reply To All" (Caramie Productions). All pledges of £10 and above gain a 'Thanks" credit - with some fantastic practical awards available for larger pledges. Deadline to pledge is end 14 December. Your pledge will not be activated if we fail to hit our target. Nothing to lose, lots to gain! Go to: http://kck.st/1aX5EL0
I'm a bit confused. If I give you £1500, I get an 'executive producer' credit. Except, I won't be an executive producer (presumably you aren't going to give me that much power). So it would be a lie.
If stuff like this takes off, we could have people with huge lists of credits on IMDB, who have done precisely nothing to actually get them. Apart from part with cash, obviously.
It's a small industry, so presumably the people that matter would know if you had actually achieved anything or not, but it feels bit dishonest to me.
That being said, I wish you every success with your project.

didn't know this Useful information.
I like the story idea it seems like a fun idea. Hope you get it off the ground. Good luck with the fundraising.
I just wish he would stay around like he says and contribute to other threads so we can get a cut of his jib. I'd gladly give a struggling someone who wants to do something some cash, but not for a vanity credit.

I donated my time to wish him all the best, I couldn't remember my paypal password.
Maybe the website was flooded with visitors and had to be taken down, and they are now moving it to new servers to cope with the demand.
It's a Bugger when that happens, the amount of shoes I have lost on eBay.
That is why I always use the Buy it now option, you never know when a server is about to go down on you
Well to be frank, Carlos your love life is your own affair.
But I was referencing the forgetting of your paypal password.
Oh right yes I see, mmm this is embarrassing. I meant my paypal password as well, I have never had a server go down on me honest.
Quote: Marc P @ 7th December 2013, 9:51 PM GMTI am curious as to the worth of an IMDB credit??? Does it mean you can use the word ace in self reference on a cv?
It means nothing. Apparently I have a page on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4629884/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1
This means I once used Final Cut Pro and the film got broadcast on a local TV station and went round some festivals (it was a shitty film so I didn't pay any attention to where it went or what happened to it).
I can't remember how to use Final Cut Pro. I am not an editor.
Can I send you five pounds? As you know this isn't the real deal I am looking for a discount?
I thought final cut pro was how pimps stabbed prostitute s
