I think it's absolutely rotten to kick an invisible man when he's down. Yet sometimes, a girl needs to be sent to Coventry. There's only one way to attain the wisdom to get through this:

I'm not down I'm just surprised at what is deemed to be acceptable by my fellow posters.

When I first read it I was livid and upset I really was, but now I have had time to reflect and I would have to say that it says more about the poster than it does me.

To be able to summon such personal venom and aim for a posters wife and kids in order to ram it home, that's just f**ked up it really is, he must be in a really bad place.

So in conclusion I won't be beaten off these boards by envy coupled with spite, it's not me, I'm not Cotter or poor Smithy, I am ten times as funny as Sooty and I always will be.

Kenneth I can see what you're saying and thank you for it, as you are right.

But for me this has moved on into what is acceptable on these forums.

Open hatred and attacks on a posters family from someone who comes on and is instantly barred as a troll would not upset me in the least as no one can legislate for that.

But this is a long term member of a writers site, who has drawn no criticism as yet for his actions.

All I have left to say is that this poster is out of order and has overstepped the mark.

I often think the boards would be a much healthier place if we had a resident psychologist. They could have their own forum to treat those members near the edge of insanity.

If they know how to treat chronic bores, they'll make a bomb on you lad?
