Pop stars in films.

I didn't want to waste a thread on a specific film so thought I'd title it as above.

I want to know firstly who remembers Joe Brown's "Crazy World we're living in."

Joe is a great character, fantastic guitarist and a cheeky chappie.

Crazy World was released about 1963 and I loved it. I'm sure Old Rocker will remember this.

He's still going and I may go to see him tomorrow. His daughter Sam had a big hit with "Stop" back in the 80s.

Wasn't she background singer for Pink Floyd or am I confusing something?

I don't know the film (yet) though...sadly.

Marty Wilde* in the above film.

Would they get away with this today?

Harry H Corbett is in it too.

You must go and see him live Old Boy.

He is pure class!

Oh, re the film, if you have a suitable programme (e.g 4K download) and a tele with a usb connection, you're there!

Watching it now on You Tube.

Forgot Freddie and the Dreamers were in it too.

Denise Coffey and Michael Ripper playing loads of different characters.

Yeah, clocked Michael Ripper before he went on to be Mine Host in all the inns in Hammer films !

And I always fancied Susan Maughan - even though I was 7 - although her acting was awful.

How would you know at 7?

Isn't that reverse paedophilia ?

Ha ha. Maybe 8 then.

Michael Robbins in it too. A really great cast.

By the way youre wrong.

He was in Dune, Dune is awesome.

You owe scifi an apology.

Did Micheal Jackson make anything other than Moonwalker.

David Bowie funnily enough seems to be in almost universally awesome films; Man Who Fell to Earth, Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, The Prestige, Sponge Bob Square Pants, TV show.

He's only in it for about 5 minutes and half of that is having a gay knife fight.

Madonna in anything is...

Desperately Seeking Susan is fun, as is her small role in that baseball bs

But Shanghai Surprise killed Handmade Films and she neutered Guy Richie so she can f**k off and die.

Toxic whore.

But a lovely singer

Kris Kristofferson on the OtherHand is a decent actor.
