Mumbles

A Studio window, inside we see two men with headphones on, they are sitting on stools talking to an overhead mic as they read from scripts

LARRY
The city is really quiet.

KEVIN
Which is not surprising given it;s 3am on a Sunday.

LARRY
The rain dances down past the street lights

KEVIN
That would explain why the street is wet.

LARRY
We see a man with his hands deep in his pockets.

KEVIN
Who may be playing with himself?.

LARRY
There is a flashing neon sign reading 24Hr Cafe

KEVIN
That's how the owners attract customers.

LARRY
The man stops at the kerb

KEVIN
There's a f**king shock

LARRY
Kevin I've had enough of this! Now I know you wanted to be principle voice on this, but they chose me and you're just going to have to deal with it! So can we at least be mature about this?

KEVIN
F**k Off you C**t!

Your introduction and the lack of an early objection from Larry both contradict the conceit that Kevin is talking out of turn. I think it would be funnier if Larry were to issue repeated warnings which Kevin blatantly ignores. As it stands, the last two lines lack logical support and are robbed of any real energy and bite.
Then again, I might have got the wrong end of the stick.

You're right of course Stonked, but it's just a throw away muse to blow away a few cobwebs and it's not worth editing.
