Custody Sergeant quickie

INT. POLICE STATION. NIGHT.

CAMERA FOCUS ON SERGEANT STANDING IN A CUSTODY SUITE.

VOICE: (O.O.V.)
We've a drunk in charge to book in sarge.

SARGE:
Just when I was hoping for a quiet shift.. Ok, I'll log on to the system.

VOICE: (O.O.V.)
Three times over the limit this bloke was, and, he isn't the owner driver... Company vehicle sarge.

SARGE:
Ooh, your boss is going through the book at you sir... Ok, place your fingers on this pad please.

PULL BACK TO REVEAL AN ASTRONAUT SWAYING WITH COP STEADYING HIM.

There is comic potential in a tipsy astronaut, but this sketch is a bit too much of a stretch for me.

I actually rather liked this. Dumb, fun and incredibly economical. Russ Abbott springs to mind.

It's a bit too much of a simple reveal, Nigel. I think you need to give it a further twist otherwise it's a bit light. A drunk astronaut is a good idea for a character, as Timbo says, so maybe try and develop that.
