The Ultimate Sitcom Page 2

I never bother with these things cos they're totally subjective and you couldn't even make your own list, and even if you did, you'd change it the next day. As long as the Young Ones and Fawlty Towers are in there, it's cool.

Hey, they haven't included Only Fools and Horses! That IS cool.

The ultimate sitcom?

A US army master sergeant comes to the UK for a reunion with some old home guard colleagues. He stays in a hotel in Torquay with a sea view, Of course he needs a new suit of clothes for the function and visits the menswear department of a traditional department store for a fitting. After the reunion he decides to stay on a little longer in this country and books a week at a holiday camp, arriving by bus (getting off at the Cemetery Gates). He's missing the folks back home so buys a radio transmitter to keep in touch and actually manages to find some bread pudding to send to one of his colleagues but cuts himself while slicing it up and loses a lot of blood.

Just needs someone to write it.
