When/Why did the BCG become so dull & lifeless? Page 15

I look around at my fellow man and all I see is a bunch of egotistical money-grabbing, media-whoring, petty tyrants who,

Egotistical-maybe

Money-grabbing? Not sure. my mate works loads of shifts to get more money. But he has a new born and two other young kids. Is he money grabbing or just looking after the family?

Media-whoring-I think you must socialise with certain 'types' Stylee because none of my friends do this. Perhaps we circulate in different circles :)

Petty tyrants- I think we all have that in us so I'll give you that one.

And sex. You forgot sex. The Simpson episode when men stopped trying to impress women sum's that up quite nicely I think.

Cous cous always amuses me since I heard it was a Middle Eastern euphemism for a vagina

Eurgh...yeasty.

Eh? Which planet are you on?

I look around at my fellow man and all I see is a bunch of egotistical, money-grabbing, media-whoring, petty tyrants who, whilst proclaiming their 'good, honest, altruistic' motives, always keep an eye on any chance to enhance their bank balances. People always say that they 'care', (many people make a career out of it), but their actions belie their words.

I choose to see the best in humanity rather than the worst. I see a lot of bad - but I believe in change for the better.

The fact that I see the world differently to you does not make it less valid.

Sick

Would watching a porn film set in a forest, be a case of not being able to see the trees for the wood.

Idealism is great when you're young, but when you've got a few more decades under your belt, you'll realise that all is hypocrisy and that you are just as much a part of the hypocrisy as the next person.

You're older than me? I'd always assumed you were about 16.

You just lost your argument.

Does that chat up line ever work?

Does my bum look big in this thread?

Does my bum look big in this thread?

Nope. It's just the mirror. :)

And actually - a friend of mine is having bum implants. So a big bum is a very positive thing these days!

Does anyone actually like these serious conversations that guaranteed to piss off 50% of posters?

I hang around here to be flippant and witty.

I just noticed if you say your name quickly Our Will, it sounds like welcome in Scouse.

Is that deliberate?

No, deliberate is what scousers do if they don't like fancy cheese and meat counters.

Is this the first ever BCG thread title with a slash in?

Quote: Stylee TingTing @ October 6 2013, 10:58 PM BST

No, there was a Guns 'n Roses one.

Booyah!

This thread brings to mind lloyd Grossman's 'we've deliberated, cogitated and digested', now who's going to be the first to throw up??
