Well you're not even freaking here to be able to attend! >_<

Eesh...

Anyway. It will be happening, hopefully within the next couple of months. Mark and I are busy - in between our normal money-making jobs - building up the new BCG though. So try and think of it as a bit of an official launch-party. :)

That's just grim. Do people seriously do that?

You've never been to Plymouth, have you?

Hey -so there was talk about a BSG get together and now i'm coming back in 2 weeks maybe we could arrange something for October or something...

You're keen Ellie - I like that :)

Firstly, it wasn't just talk - I think everyone meeting up in person is a great idea. As Aaron says, we've been a bit busy recently hence why there's been no solid plans made yet. Plus naturally we're waiting for you to come back to England first :)

October time should be good though... we can hopefully make the meet up a celebration of the new website being live.

Again, just to repeat what Aaron says - the first meet up will be London based. It makes sense the most as it is the closest for the majority and is fairly easy to get to for those who don't live close but are uber keen.

A Midlands meet up will no doubt follow that. I'm in Birmingham now and again.

Of course there's nothing stopping someone else organising a meet up if they'd like one in their area. e.g. Leevil, you could have a Lincolnshire meet up! I seem to remember some talk about a Wales meet up too - Wales is fairly well represented here.

Yeah, I'm not that enthusiastic about meeting you all. I've been groomed before and it wasn't as good as it said on Tonight with Trevor McDonald.

Yes, but not around the kinds of people who would do that sort of thing.

Always happy to organise something in the future for Cardiff with fellow Celt's, but more than happy to travel across to London for the first outing. I get to go to a different country, yippee!
:D
It's probably too late for this event, but how do people feel about getting a speaker (Andrew Collins has written for the site, do you think he could spare a half hour to talk to a bunch of us) before we go for a few cheeky ones? Just a thought!

Can we set up a laptop and camera so everyone can join in. I'll go and sit in a pub in Glasgow and talk to you all in London.

London's a damned good idea. I mean the thought of a bunch of struggling wannabe comedy writers meeting up in Grantham to get pished and talk shoite is quite tragic. No offence to the Grantham Massive, of course.
