Of course, like a wally I've only just this minutes thought of posting about this on the Manchester Comedy Forum and to a few comedy writer friends who aren't on BCG...

Crud. More notice next time, I've been hibernating over Christmas and am out early tomorrow for work.
Sent you a PM, Dave.
Not for me, over slept since giving up the day job have insomnia, that or I'm becoming a vampire.
Sorry, I wanted to but will have to give it a miss. I've had some kind of monster flu for the last week and, although finally out of bed today, I'm kitten-weak.
Have a good time everyone who goes out and let's do this again!
Hmmm... A few people would love to, but not today, and a couple who were going pulled out. So I think today may be more or less reliant on lurkers who haven't said either way.
I'll be there. Though if it's just me I'll be the one in the corner either reading or writing.
Well there's currently a small group of us in the back room at Gulliver's - we're probably arranging the future of comedy... Still time to get here!
Enjoy, sorry I couldn't attend this time.
Have fun all? Who made it? Do it again so I can turn up (but in a few months time, as I'm currently quitting smoking and am miserable company ).
I went! Was fun. Hope to see some more of you there another time, and that you're fully unsmoked by then, sglen.
Any feedback on the Manchester meet? would love info please ! x
oh Hai!
I haven't actually ever been to the actual north, which is where I currently understand that Manchester is usually located, nor could I be classed as a 'writer' or have any context in which to consider myself 'sought' and yet I am replying to this thread. Just really to say hi to the regulars/locals, since I couldn't find an appropriate 'newbies must prostrate themselves before the jaded forum regulars' section.
In the spirit of the thread however I did a search for 'London' as I would be very interested in London based amatuer collectives upon whome to drunkenly bounce slurred unfunny half concepts off, on the pretext of trying to create something beautiful but in fact actually just facilitating my encroaching alcoholism and desperate pointless straw grasping, as my youth slips aways and I realise I haven't ever actually achieved anything ever.
So should I create a new thread along the lines of 'London based amatuer writing performing collectives' which could be periodically but not relentlessly bounced on the occasion that someone has some input in that vain?
I ask because as a regular on other forums I do understand over the life of a forum there are inevitable unwritten but much written about rules that people get annoyed about and as such welcome direction so as not to irk the local people.
Well anyway, hi people. I'm new.
Hello and welcome to the forum

What if your name isn't Page? I'll have a look anyway.
Thanks SootyJ as well!
