Something old, something new to me?

I'm feeling fresh out of ideas for cozy sitcoms to watch at the end of the day.

I'm lucky to have a good selection but what I'm running out of things I haven't seen. I love to "re-run" but something new would be nice. I'm searching for sitcoms that are mostly domestic, about family and other relationships, but not focused on little children. Favourites are As Time Goes By, Birds of a Feather, Next of Kin, Faith in the Future, On the Up, 2.4 Children, A Fine Romance, OFAH, Green Green Grass, The Good Life, Fresh Fields, Second Thoughts, To the Manor Born....

Recommendations appreciated!

Thanks.

For the Love of Ada?

All Creatures Great and Small'? not cosy' but, 'Bread' and 'Two Pints of Lager'??...

All Creatures Great and Small is a drama, but certainly may be of enjoyment.

I suggest Dad and, if you want to try going waaaay back, give The Larkins a go.

You may also enjoy the upcoming Father Figure. But possibly not. And recent The Wright Way, if you've not seen it.

Are you familiar with Terry & June, Happy Ever After or No Place Like Home?

Sounds like you might like The Upper Hand.

(It's a remake of Who's The Boss?.)

Just Good Friends?

Home To Roost too.

Perhaps My Old Man or Spring & Autumn would interest, too.

Ooh, and May To December.

The Royle Family isn't cosy in a conventional way, but it's very good-natured.

Ever Decreasing Circles!

Duty Free
Never The Twain
Dear Ladies
Sorry!

...And Mother Makes Three (and Five)? Butterflies?

Terrific! Thanks so much...so many ideas to check out. (The bank manager won't be saying thank you!)

Saw a bit of Just Good Friends on YouTube and thought I might try it sometime. Love All Creatures but have seen in through several times. I really enjoyed Ever Decreasing Circles, too, and Butterflies. Not a big Sorry fan from the few episodes I'd seen years ago, though. I saw bits of May to December years ago on TVO or Vision -- our stations that air lots of Britcoms --- but had forgotten about it ... I actually have one series of Home to Roost but haven't watched it yet.

That said, I don't know Terry & June, Happy Ever After, No Place Like Home, Love of Ada, My Old Man, Spring & Autumn, Father Figure, Duty Free, Never the Twain, Dear Ladies, And Mother Makes Three or Dad. At least some of these must be available on DVD!

Thanks again.
