How critique-y should critique be? Page 2

Two separate issues I won't mention Leevils but it was separate to you.

I found you to be for a while hyper critical and offering unnuanced feedback.
I think I asked why you were reading my stuff if you never enjoyed it?

But what can I say you raised your game and I found your feedback to be more balanced, never entirely positive but fair.

Then I guess our 20 year feud is at an end. Would have been nice if you'd sent me some flowers or sumfing though.

Here was a thing on getting and giving notes in the pro world:

I'm only 12 did I know you in another life?

Anyway you never apologised for insulting the universe it's self by critiquing my perfection.

I'd hate to be Leevil right about now Errr

He's dead isn't he? Buried in an unmarked grave in an unread post in the critique forum.

This thread might even bring out the big guns from retirement, might have to check the server space on this one.

I think as long as people remember, that some people do not know how to take critique and some people don't know how to give critique, then it is fine, I have learned loads from here.

Who are the big guns, Carlos?

Matthew - that's a great link, thanks. James Cary did something similar recently:

I've tried to link stuff before and failed miserably, so I'm afraid you'll have to cut and paste!

Edit: Oooh..it linked automatically. How clever.

This makes me happy. Not that I know anything about your feud, but it makes me happy.

I am not sure Jennie, but there is always a dude that has gone into retirement, doesn't make any more posts and doesn't even read the posts, but then there is one one thread that he just can't ignore anymore, no matter how hard he tries, it plagues him in his sleep and when he is shopping, until finally he has to make a post.

And you think this might be the one? I'm flattered. :)

Although I wouldn't like to plague anyone in their sleep :(

It's such a feud that not only have we sat and drunk at the same table, I've also watched him inhale snuff.

Is that the plot for the new diehard movie Carlos?
