I got my nephew the new'ish American release of the DVD for his b-day... I've been waiting borrow it to check out the special features... which includes Weird Al in some capacity (probably just saying how good Snuff Box is).

I love the film censors sketch in episode four.
Love this show!!!
Snuff Box is great. It is shame there is only one series. The two characters play well off of each other. The music is great too.
F*CK YOU!
WHISKY!!

Don't know if you saw "Dredd" but the theme song featured quite heavily in a couple of scenes for no other reason than the film makers liked it . . .
Whiskey!
I absolutely loved Snuff Box! In fact you have collectively reminded me I need to watch it again. In a minute. Once I have finished what I was going to say. Matt Berry is bloody brilliant in this. Not sure if anyone saw his recent Toast thing but I think Snuff Box beats it hands down.
"son of two balled bitch!"

Yes we did: https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/28913/
I have just watched ep1 and I must admit that I'm both confused an unimpressed so far. Does it matter that I also found The Mighty Boosh a huge heap of dung? Armed with your comments and the fact that Arthur Mathews is the script editor I'll give ep2 a shot, but hmmmm....
I found this show to be more miss than hit. Some of the hits were really funny though.
I'm glad I'm not the only one then

I really hated it with a passion when it originally aired, but re-watched it a number of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. Might be that it takes a certain mood or a bit of getting used to?
Never cared all that much for The Mighty Boosh.

I prety much agree. It feels as thought there are 2.5 amazing episodes stretched out to 6.
Still, that's a better eking out ratio than most comedy shows manage in the 21st century.
How did I miss this? It's awesome and why only 6 episodes?

If you mean during original broadcast it was on at about 2 in the morning on BBC Three with no advertising and never repeated (some of these facts may be exagerrated, but not far from the truth).
