I Am Comic

No, not me, but that is the name of some documentary I saw on Sky Arts last night. It is well worth watching as it gives a pretty honest/bleak representation of life for stand ups in America. Most of the 'comics' featured I'd never heard of but their stories and the relationships between them were moving and funny at the same time.
If you get a chance, watch it.

Wave

As a jobbing comic I really enjoyed this, although some of the attempts to be funny during the talking head sections were a bit cringeworthy, I'd rather just hear comics talk about the business rather than feel the need to be constantly "on".

It was also interesting to see the retired comic going back on the circuit and working through some material, which started off with no actual punchlines just some vague ideas, until it was fairly polished.
