Buying Aguero & making him captain was a good move.

A move performed with bear faced cheek I'd say Whistling nnocently

Yes I noticed that!
A Fozzie without a moustache is still a formidable opponent.

I've brought in Aguero for Lukaku this week as the Everton man took a bit of a knock last week. Leaves me with the dilemma of who to captain though - Aguero or Suarez. Both have factors in their favour, but as Suarez is at home I'll stick with him.

All that's left now is to sit & wait for my heartfelt congratulations from Don & Godot.

Godot's still trying to work out this:

Speaking of Halloween..
What are Godot's thoughts on the weekend matches.

Yeah sorry.
Just a poor joke.

Has anyone else bought Aguero in this week?

Captaining Vertongen would have given you 24pts for 1 assist versus Suarez's 34pts for a hattrick.

Yes that doesn't seem right. It's a very good website for stats and stuff if you like that sort of thing but the game itself seems geared too much to defenders who only cost half as much as the forwards, yet as you say are getting nearly as many points. Daft. Maybe it's run by Italians?

I did. :)

Currently hoping that Barkley stays on the bench. That way Schneiderlin comes off my bench with his goal.

I've got some very bad news for you Ben...

And there was I hoping that Sturridge would fill his boots against Fulham. Dang and muddaf**kin' blast.

Well I captained Suarez, so got a decent number of points from him. Bit disappointing from the rest.

Looks like Suarez was captain in quite a few teams.
My new signing Ravel Morrison just got me a goal.
I wasn't sure whether to play him, so that's handy.

Thanks Kipper, glad someone cares about it.

Aguero now up to 11.9 - .8 more than when I sold him. He's a frustrating player to hold. 36pts if you captained him last week but 1 goal out of seven for a forward is not actually that great.

I found your comment thought provoking but was struggling to find scope for a logical retort.

One thing that strikes me now we are in Gameweek 11 is that the lower values of defenders could reflect a broader spread of comparative performance.

That is to say there are up to a dozen really high performing strikers but the weekly performance of defenders seems less certain or easy to call.

I know there are huge differences already in the "goals against" tallies for the teams.

Is there, though, any team that provides big confidence of points in defence in the tougher matches? Personally, I don't think so.

I tossed a coin between Suarez and Aguero. I hate fantasy football.
