Laughing out loud

Don & Splodge seem to have made a move up to the top end.
Good scores.

Not updated quite yet, so I'm probably moving down a place or two

Coutinho and Paulinho haven't done me much good so far. Going to change one the inho's for a Hazard soon. RVP going as well

9.6 percent of people picked Shay Given as one of their keepers - that gives me some comfort. But no points.

It is rumoured that Given is off to Liverpool to provide cover for Mignolet.

Turfing out VP is a brave move, his next few fixtures are:

Crystal Palace ( H )
Man City ( A )
West Brom ( H )
Sunderland ( A )
Southampton ( H )
Stoke ( H )

With the exception of City away, they don't get much better than that.

The trouble with Van Pantless is he's never been much of a poacher and the current United midfield is creative wasteland. Moye's should've put in a bid for Mata - Mourinho doesn't want him.

Yeah, three of those fixtures look like decent scoring opportunities for him, but then you would have said the same for Aquero home to Hull City. United are playing so badly anything could happen. He nearly got a three match ban last night.

If you read the free sections of the Fantasy Scout site people are 'wildcarding' to bring him in - and Giroud. These are the same f**kwits who captained Silva for one week and are now shipping him out. What did they expect to happen? A hat trick? (That said, most of them have got more points than me :)).

As for Coutinho, he'll be better when Suarez comes back as Rogers is playing him out of position at the moment.

My players averaged 5 points each on the weekend. Shame there was only eight of the buggers to score them :(

Dzeko getting the old heave ho I think. To put Suarez in or not? That be the question. It's a biting dilemma.

My average was three. :) Truly a hellish week. I see as well that our teams are both finally worth 100m. Gerry's already gone on to 101.8m. Silva astonishingly has gone up to 9.4m despite doing a Van Persie against Hull..

How does that work as a system then? Just encourages everyone to buy the same players. In quality terms Gerry's team's not worth more than mine, let alone nearly two million more.

It's a funny old game.

I've given up trying to work out the machinations of the players transfer costs system. I've tried to go for reliable players who are actually playing week in week out. Hence Man City players not heavily represented though keeping an eye on new managers rotation policy. Although dropping from second to ninth in one week I'm not sure I'm qualified to say bugger all! However like us all I'm looking for that dark horse who scores big but costs little.

You're only 16pts from Second place, Roscoff. it's not like later in the season when there are fifty point gaps between each of us. That said Rob H is starting to slip away a bit...

Congratulations to Don who's bagged an impressive points haul this week to go second. He even captained a goal-scorer which is, I believe, what you're supposed to do.

Cheers, Godot (and Steve). Bit surprised you signed Aguero. Obviously the opposition was weak but 11 mil is HUGE money for a "rotation risk" striker. He's got Stoke next, sticking with or getting rid?

If he blanks again we should expect "Aguero, the Wrath of Godot."
